What we expect:
  • MANAGE the SHIFT - Daily supervision of food preparation and all aspects of service of the shift, successfully executing the following job functions:
  1. Receiving
  2. Prep
  3. Station Set-Up
  4. QA and Consistency
  5. Safety, Sanitation and Compliance
  6. Equipment, Repair and Maintenance
  7. Ordering and Inventory
  8. Cleanliness and Organization
  9. Communication
  • MENTORING, TRAINING and LEADERSHIP - live and train the Big Red F Family Values by inspiring, motivating and guiding the HOH crew to work productively and harmoniously to achieve both the goals established by the Chef and Big Red F standards of service.
Qualifications:
  • College/Culinary degree and/or comparable experience in a professional kitchen
  • Minimum of two years in a food preparation position
  • Basic finance skills with an understanding of weekly budgets, costed menus and schedules.
  • Familiarity and proven communication protocol with staff and management
  • Working knowledge of KDS, Scheduling Software, Excel (spreadsheets), Google Suite and Electronic Order Entry
  • ServSafe Manager, First Aid and CPR Certified
  • Ability to handle the requirements of a Sous Chef's job which includes bending, reaching, standing for long periods of time and carrying and lifting heavy and really hot stuff.
  • Must have the stamina to work five 8-9 hour shifts per week
  • Integrity, intelligence, honesty and a willingness to learn, dig in, and be world famous.

Compensation: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
